August 26, 2013

The AllStars will have the pleasure of working once again with Marcella Detroit
Best known in Britain for her work with Shakespear’s Sister, Marcella Detroit still holds the record for longest-running Number 1 single by a female artist in the UK.
Marcella also co-wrote Lay Down Sally with Eric Clapton, with whom she spent six years on the road. Other notable collaborators include Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Robin Gibb and Bette Midler.
Marcella’s outstanding new album The Vehicle is available now, and sees a return to her soul roots. She will be performing an intimate set with Michael Brown (Guitar) and Robert ‘Skins Anderson (Percussion) from The AllStars Collective.
